The winery's vineyards are located at the border of the national park in the valley of the Thaya River (Czech: Dyje). Therefore, we decided to name our basic range of wines ‘Greetings from the National Park’ and chose illustrations of animals living in the surroundings as the main leitmotif of the labels. Each variety has one animal assigned to it, and thus the differentiation between them is easier.
The illustration is complemented by a seal with the name of the variety stamped in metallic foil and the winery logo, the initial K with embedded roots, referring to the name of the vintner (Kořínek means ‘rootlet’ in English), which also conceals small houses within the vineyard alleys where the winery is located. The labels are created by linocut technique to emphasise the craftsmanship of winery.
