Wines of Macedonia celebrated its 5th anniversary in May. It was set up as an NGO in order to provide support for wineries, aid constant quality improvement, give the wines umbrella recognition and increase support. Since then, its 10 member wineries, making up 90% of bottled exports, have improved their quality with the help of expert consultants and are now exporting their wines around the world.
