New Confrérie de Tokaj members

Grant Ashton and Ronan Sayburn MS, owner and head of wine of 67 Pall Mall, have been admitted to membership in the Confrérie de Tokaj.

The induction ceremony was held in Tokaj-Hétszőlő's Rákóczi Cellar in the centre of Tokaj town on 25th January, followed by a dinner at Sárga Borház Restaurant on the Disznókő Wine Estate. During their brief stay in the region, the two new Confrérie members tasted dozens of wines with a view to selecting a range of Tokajis for 67 Pall Mall's extensive wine list.

The Confrérie de Tokaj membership includes producers, wine professionals and wine lovers committed to promoting the Tokaj Wine Region. 67 Pall Mall is going to be the formal 'London outpost' of the Confrérie de Tokaj. (www.tokajtoday.com)
