Following on from the success of the Orange Wine Festival in Izola earlier in the year, Slovenia will be one of the major participants in the follow-up being organised in Vienna on 16 November 2015, along with Austria and Italy. Western Slovenia and north-eastern Italy are the Western Europe’s spiritual home for this style of wine, called ‘white wines with long maceration’ in both Italian and Slovenian.
